The 8th Annual Front Porch Days Celebration is a Kyle mainstay. It's held each year in the Plum Creek neighborhood. This year the bulk of the activities will be held on Sunday, May 3.
Before I get to far.. let me drop the important info.

OK... now that I got that over with... here's some of the cool things that will be going on:
There's a few competitions going on that everyone is invited to participate in. A Golf Tournament (on May 2), a 5k and 1k Run, and a Washer's Tournament sponsored by the Kyle United Methodist Church.
There's also lots to come and see if you're not the competitive type. If it's like years past, there will be many booths from local artisans, food booths. There will be PLENTY of activities for the kiddos like pony rides, a petting zoo, craft booths, and face painting. The "Jiggle Bug Express" kid train will be running. There's going to be bouncey-bounces galore...
For the green thumbs in the area, or those who have a deep appreciation for others who have a green thumb, there's the 2nd Annual Plum Creek Garden Tour
This year, for the first time Front Porch Days will feature a SOAP BOX DERBY. Talk about going back in time!
There's will also be an awesome concert, the thrown on two stages with the headliners of each stage being The Biscuit Brothers and Autumn.
